Description
The elastic coupling is made up of two crown gears (male and female) integral with each other. The elastic dowels with special high-resistance compound which work under compression are inserted on the female half-coupling. The joints are torsionally elastic. They can work in both directions of rotation, as well as for reversible operation and also absorb shocks deriving from uneven and alternating loads. The SAPITFLEX couplings ensure the compensation of any small alignment errors between the driving machine and the pipeline deriving, for example, from possible assembly errors, from the effects of thermal expansion, from the elasticity of the load-bearing structures or from small settlements of the foundations.
